Family-run, the Albergo Ai Spiazzi stands on the edge of a beautiful wood of large horse chestnuts with a characteristic little church. Easily reached in a few minutes from the arrival of the cable car, it is the ideal destination for families and for those who wish to spend a holiday in the green without straying too far from the city. During hot summer days, the breeze which arrives from Garda lake refreshes the small plateau, providing some coolness for a pleasant relaxation or a walk.

Run by the Kerschbaumer family for generations, the hotel offers a cosy atmosphere and home cooking that respects traditional Trentino recipes and is based on genuine local products, an ideal recharge for the many hikes with breathtaking views. Located at the start of the road from the cable car to Malga Kraun, it is open as a bar all day and it is an excellent place for a cool refreshment after a high-altitude walk. The restaurant, with its panoramic terrace overlooking the Brenta group, is open for lunch and dinner.

The menu is rich in tradition, taste and territory, which come together to create delicious dishes.

At 1,200 meters above sea level, surrounded by beech and fir forests, lies Malga Kraun — a small and welcoming mountain hut where you can stop for a hearty lunch or simply enjoy a homemade sweet treat.

At the table, you’ll discover the traditional flavors of Trentino cuisine, paired with excellent local wines. House specialties include carne salada, Teroldego risotto, tagliatelle with venison ragù, braised pork ribs, and trout baked in foil.

The mountain hut is open only on weekends until the end of October 2025.
