Mezzocorona salutes its cable car with a festive evening
A historic and emotionally charged moment awaits the community and visitors to the Piana Rotaliana.
On 14 June 2026, a special event will be held entitled “An evening together for the last ride of the cable car!”, an occasion to say goodbye together to the cable car that for years has connected the village to the suggestive Mezzocorona mountain.
The appointment is set at the valley station of the cable car, from 18:00 to 21:00, to celebrate the memories linked to this means of transport and to experience an evening of sharing.

The programme
To best accompany this historic farewell, the evening will be enlivened by moments of conviviality open to all:
- Music and a gastronomic stand: from 6 p.m., the valley station will light up with musical entertainment and a small gastronomic stand where one can snack and toast in company.
- A memorable moment: the most important and symbolic moment of the evening will come at 21:00, the official time of the last cable car ride.
Become a protagonist: the draw for the last ride
The event reserves an exclusive surprise for the public. Among all the people present at the event, 5 lucky people will in fact be drawn. The winners will have the honour and privilege of boarding the cabin to take part in person in the very last trip at 9 p.m., a memory that will surely remain indelible.
