Monte di Mezzocorona is located in Piana Rotaliana Königsberg, the viticultural heart of Trentino, halfway between Trento and Bolzano.

In this area, renowned wines like the red Teroldego Rotaliano DOC, the white Nosiola, and the Trento DOC sparkling wine are born, along with true gastronomic excellences, to be discovered with a visit to wineries, agritourisms, or restaurants amidst scenic routes through vineyards and hills. The area is also a repository of precious cultural gems, such as the Trentino Ethnographic Museum San Michele, the Giardino dei Ciucioi, the wonderful frescoes by Paul Troger, castles, ancient churches, gothic, and baroque.

You can reach Mezzocorona:

  • by car, exiting at Mezzocorona/San Michele all’Adige from the A22 motorway
  • by train, getting off at Mezzocorona station. From here, you can choose to walk (approximately 30 minutes) or take the Trento Malè-Mezzana train to the stop in the town center (2 minutes)
  • by bike, via the Adige Valley cycle path
  • by bus, with Trentino Trasporti

Once in Mezzocorona, you can choose to reach the Monte location either by the cable car, located just steps away from the town center, or on foot via various trails. At the cable car’s departure station, you’ll find a large parking (with charges on some summer days – learn more in the dedicated section).
